Detection of mouse BP-1 (Ly-51)+ cellsThe 6C3 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse Anti-BP-1 (Ly-51), a 140 kDa transmembrane protein. It is expressed on thymic dendritic cells, cortical epithelial cells, and pre B cells and can be upregulated in the presence of IL-7. It has been identified to be an enzyme with aminopeptidase A (APA) activity, so a wide variety of mouse tissue cells which possess APA activity express BP-1 (Ly-51).
