In Vitro: Transferrins (0.2, 1 and 5 μM, 30 min) enhances the enzymatic activity of thrombin.
Transferrins (0.2, 1 and 5 μM, 30 min) enhances the ability of thrombin and FXIIa to hydrolyze their natural substrates (fibrinogen).
Transferrins can conjugate with cytochrome c, the conjugates can be uptaken by transferrin receptor overexpressing A549 cells, thereby inducing cell death.
