| 背景 | GPR101 (G protein-coupled receptor 101) is a G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) primarily expressed in the pituitary gland, hypothalamus, and brain tissues. It couples to Gs proteins, activating adenylyl cyclase and increasing intracellular cAMP, influencing hormone secretion, growth regulation, and pituitary function. Dysregulation or overexpression of GPR101 is associated with X-linked acrogigantism (XLAG) and pituitary hyperplasia, making it a potential therapeutic target for endocrine disorders. |
