产品概述

检测原理

Product Overview
This kit employs the classic and stable dinitrophenylhydrazine colorimetric method for the quantitative detection of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activity in a variety of biological samples (including animal and plant tissues, cells, bacteria, serum/plasma, and cell culture supernatants). LDH is a key enzyme in the glycolytic pathway, catalyzing the reversible conversion between pyruvate and lactate, accompanied by the interconversion of NAD⁺/NADH. Its activity level is an important indicator reflecting cellular metabolic status.
Assay Principle
Under optimal reaction conditions, lactate dehydrogenase catalyzes the substrate reaction. The generated product reacts with dinitrophenylhydrazine to form a brownish-red phenylhydrazone, which exhibits a maximum absorption peak near 450 nm. The LDH activity in the sample can be calculated by measuring the absorbance value.
