检测原理

Product Overview

CheKine™ Soil Neutral Invertase (S-NI) Activity Assay Kit (Micro Method) is a highly sensitive kit specifically designed for the detection of sucrose neutral invertase activity in soil samples. Utilizing a microplate-based assay principle, this kit is suitable for the analysis of neutral invertase activity in various types of soil samples. It is widely applicable in agricultural research, soil ecology studies, environmental science, and other related fields.

Assay Principle

This kit is based on the principle that S-NI catalyzes the hydrolysis of sucrose to produce reducing sugars. The reducing sugars react with 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid (DNS) to form a brown-red colored compound, which has a characteristic absorption peak at 540 nm. Within a certain concentration range, the rate of increase in absorbance at 540 nm is proportional to the amount of reducing sugars generated, thereby allowing for the accurate calculation of S-NI enzyme activity.
