Tris也称Tris base或2-Amino-2-(hydrozkmethyl)-1,3-propanediol。分子式为C4H11NO3，分子量121.14，纯度>99.9%。

Tris, or tris(hydrozkmethyl)aminomethane, or known during medical use as tromethamine or THAM, is an organic compound with the formula (HOCH2)3CNH2. It is extensively used in biochemistry and molecular biology as a component of buffer solutions such as in TAE and TBE buffers, especially for solutions of nucleic acids.
"Tris" is a chemical compound used as a buffer. The full name is tris(hydrozkmethyl)aminomethane. Tris has the ability to absorb counter ions (+H and -OH) so as to help keep the solution that they are in at a stable pH level. When the pH of Tris is set using HCl (h y d r o c h l o r i c a c i d) the buffer is called Tris HCl.

Preparation of Microinjection Buffer
