Description Monoclonal Antibody against Muscle Actin, clone HHF35 Clone HHF35 Form Affinity Purified Antibody Host Mouse Species Reactivity Human IsoType Muscle Actin (HHF35) Monoclonal Antibody IgG1 Specificity HHF35 recognizes actin isotypes alpha and gamma (42kD) of skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle. It is nonreactive with other mesenchymal and all epithelial cells, with the exception of myoepithelium. This antibody labels rhabdomyosarcomas, hemangiopericytomas, leiomyosarcomas and leiomyomas but does not react with non-myogenic sarcomas. It is nonreactive with other neoplasms such as carcinoma or lymphoma. Uses This antibody can be used for staining of paraffin-embedded tissue sections fixed in neutral buffered formalin and is compatible with most commonly used histological fixatives. Choose a good quality enzyme-linked anti-mouse IgG1 antibody for detection. This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use. Notes This antibody is distributed by arrangement with Enzo Biochem Corporation. Storage Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody. Long term storage should be at -80°C. This shelf-life of this product is approximately 1 year.
