Description Polyclonal Antibody against DOPA Decarbozklase Form Affinity Purified Antibody (in10 mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 100 µg per mL BSA and 50% glycerol). Host Rabbit Species Reactivity Rat Specificity Dopamine Decarbozklase Polyclonal AntibodyAromatic L-amino acid decarbozklase (AADC; DOPA decarbozklase; DDC) catalyzes the second reaction in the biosynthesis of catecholamines and serotonin. It is also involved in the biosynthesis of trace amines.
The immunogen for this antibody was SDS denatured, recombinant bovine aromatic DDC expressed in E. coli and purified from inclusion bodies.
The antiserum was subsequently purified on an affinity column bound with recombinant bovine DDC.Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.
