Description Polyclonal Antibody against Dopamine Transporter, C-Terminus Form Affinity Purified Antibody (in10 mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 100 µg per mL BSA and 50% glycerol) Host Rabbit Species Reactivity Human, Monkey Specificity Plasmalemmal neurotransmitter transporters sequester synaptic and peri-synaptic transmitter into presynaptic elements. The Dopamine Transporter (DAT) is responsible for the reaccumulation of dopamine after it has been released. Levels of DAT protein expression are altered by chronic drug administration.
Dopamine Transporter, C-Terminus Polyclonal AntibodyThe antiserum was developed in rabbits against a synthetic peptide from the intracellular C-terminal region of Human Dopamine Transporter (DAT). It was subsequently purified on an affinity column coupled with the immunogen.Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry. The antibody recognizes DAT in striatum and formaldehyde-fixed brain sections from human and monkey. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.
