Description Monoclonal Antibody against Neuronal Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor, α8-Subunit Intended Use **Research Use Only (RUO)**
This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone 308 Form Ascites Host Rat Species Reactivity Neuronal Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor, α8-Subunit, Monoclonal AntibodyChicken IsoType IgG2b [Ab] 1-2 mg/ml Specificity This antibody was generated in rats against bacterially expressed large cytoplasmic domain fragment of chicken α8 neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subunits. It binds to the cytoplasmic surface of both native and denatured α8 subunits of AChR’s between amino acids 323-342. It does not cross-react with dog or rat AChRs. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunofluorescence (IF) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - Western blot: 1:1,000*
