Description Monoclonal Antibody against Anti-Melanoma, HMB45 Clone HMB45 Form Affinity Purified Antibody (in PBS, 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide) Host Mouse Species Reactivity Human IsoType IgG1 Specificity Melanoma (HMB45) Monoclonal Antibody HMB45 reacts with a melanoma-specific antigen present in melanocytic cells and junctional nevi. The antibody does not react with normal melanocytes nor intradermal nevus cells. It is also nonreactive with other neoplasms including sarcomas, carcinomas and glial tumors. Uses This antibody can be used for staining of paraffin-embedded tissue sections fixed in neutral buffered formalin and is compatible with most commonly used histological fixatives. Choose a good quality enzyme-linked anti-mouse IgG1 antibody for detection. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. This antibody is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use. Storage Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody.
