Mouse anti Human Tenascin antibody, clone T2H5 recognizes tenascin in both normal and hyperproliferative (also neoplastic) tissues.
Tenascin has been implicated in the guidance of migrating neurons and axons during development and neuronal regeneration. It promotes cortical neuron outgrowths and is an important component of the wound matrix and scar formation.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.

- 1 Staining may be enhanced using trypsin digestion or heat mediated antigen retrieval using sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0.
