Rabbit anti Human SMYD3 antibody recognizes SET (suppressor of variegation, enhancer of zeste, trithorax) and MYND (myeloid-nervy-DEAF-1) domain-containing protein 3.
SMYD3 is a lysine methyltransferase that specifically methylates H3K4 and H4K5. As part of an RNA polymerase complex, SMYD3 is involved in transcriptional regulation. SMYD3 has also been shown to play a role in the regulation of some cancers (Van Aller et al. 2012) (Liu et al. 2015).

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
