Rabbit anti Human FOXL2 antibody recognizes forkhead box protein L2.
FOXL2 is a 39 kDa transcription factor that belongs to the forkhead box (FOX) superfamily. This family of proteins is characterized by the forkhead box/winged-helix DNA-binding domain. FOXL2 plays an important role in the development and function of ovaries and inhibits the formation of testes via suppression of SOX9 expression (Yang et al. 2017). FOXL2 expression levels have been shown to play a role in the development of a number of pathologies, including adult granulosa cell tumors and endometriosis (Leung et al. 2016) (Governini et al. 2014).

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
