Rat anti Mouse Ly-6G antibody, clone 1A8 recognizes lymphocyte antigen 6 complex, locus G (Ly-6G).
Ly-6G is a cell surface, glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchored protein, expressed on granulocytes in the bone marrow and peripheral blood. Clone 1A8 has been used in vivo in mice to deplete neutrophils (Daley et al. 2008).
