| 功能 | CDCA5 is a regulator of sister chromatid cohesion in mitosis. It may act by regulating the ability of the cohesin complex to mediate sister chromatid cohesion, perhaps by altering the nature of the interaction of cohesin with the chromosomes. CDCA5 interacts with the APC/C complex and is found in a complex with the cohesin components SMC1L1, SMC3L1, RAD21, PDS5A/APRIN and PDS5B/SCC-112. |

| 背景资料 | Regulator of sister chromatid cohesion in mitosis stabilizing cohesin complex association with chromatin. May antagonize the action of WAPL which stimulates cohesin dissociation from chromatin. Cohesion ensures that chromosome partitioning is accurate in both meiotic and mitotic cells and plays an important role in DNA repair. Required for efficient DNA double-stranded break repair. |

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with CDCA5 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-61346R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
