| 生物活性 | Fipexide, a parachloro-phenossiacetic acid derivative, is an orally active nootropic agent. Fipexide reduces striatal adenylate cyclase activity. Fipexide has positive effect on cognitive performance by dopaminergic neurotransmission. Fipexide is used for senile dementia research. Fipexide acts as a chemical inducer in callus formation, shoot regeneration and Agrobacterium infection[1][2]. |
| In Vitro | FPX was shown to act as a chemical inducer in callus formation, shoot regeneration and Agrobacterium infection. With regards to morphology, the cellular organization of FPX - induced calli differed from those produced under auxin/cytokinin conditions.Microarray analysis revealed that the expression of approximately 971 genes was up - regulated 2 - fold after a 2 d FPX treatment compared with non - treated plants. Among these 971 genes, 598 genes were also induced by auxin/cytokinin, whereas 373 genes were specifically expressed upon FPX treatment only.FPX can promote callus formations in rice, poplar, soybean, tomato and cucumber, and thus can be considered a useful tool for revealing the mechanisms of plant development and for use in plant transformation technologies.[2] |

This supports the view that memory deficit is an integral part of epilepsy.In the present study we examined the effect of the nootropic drugs piracetam and fipexide on memory deficit induced by PTZ - kindling in shuttle - box - and step - down - trained rats. The retention in piracetam - and fipexide - treated animals was significantly improved compared to the kindled controls.The favourable effect of nootropic drugs in cases of amnesia provoked by PTZ - kindling might be of interest in clinical practice.[3].Animal Model: Kindled rats[3];Dosage:10 mg/kg;Administration:Orally; 5-10 days;Result:Completely abolishes the memory deficit produced by kindling.Antagonized the amnestic effect of Pentylenetetrazole (PTZ) -kindling. |
