TPOR (Thrombopoietin Receptor), also known as MPL (Myeloproliferative Leukemia Protein), is an important cell surface receptor that belongs to the type I cytokine receptor superfamily. The protein encoded by the TPOR gene plays a key role in platelet production and the regulation of hematopoietic stem cells, with its function closely associated with thrombopoietin (TPO).
