Activity (short version)：GPR55 antagonist
Function / Pharmacology：CID16020046 is a selective GPR55 antagonist.1 In HEK293 cells expressing GPR55, the compound behaves as an antagonist on lysophosphatidylinositol (LPI)-mediated Ca2+ release but was inactive on cells expressing CB1 and CB2. It blocks LPI-induced migration of colon cancer cells.2 It displays protective effects against oxidized LDL-induced inflammation3, mitigates advanced glycation end products-induced chondrocyte activation4, and displays anti-inflammatory effects in various cells5,6. A useful tool for studying the role of GPR55 in cellular physiology.
