Most of the NTP products on the market are chemically synthesized. However, for cell-free protein synthesis systems, chemically synthesized NTPs may introduce residual chemical reagents, potentially affecting protein expression. Studies have shown that the salt form of NTPs is critical in in vitro transcription (IVT) processes. Compared to sodium salt NTPs, Tris-buffered NTPs can not only enhance IVT yield but also reduce dsRNA production and improve RNA integrity. Based on this, we have launched a specialized NTP (Tris Buffered) for Cell-free Protein Synthesis. Produced via biological fermentation, the NTPs are in Tris salt form, effectively enhancing the performance of cell-free protein synthesis systems.
Description
Cell-free protein synthesis (CFPS) is an innovative technique that has successfully produced biomolecules for various applications. As the name suggests, CFPS is a transcription-translation system (TXTL system) that extracts the necessary ribosomes and regulatory factors from cells, supplementing them with amino acids, nucleotides, energy systems, and templates to synthesize proteins directly in vitro.
Due to its ease of use, versatility, and compatibility with other technologies, CFPS has become a crucial tool in synthetic biology research and industrial production, offering new solutions to current environmental and health issues.
