一般描述:脱水EDTA二钠盐可螯合金属离子，与二价阳离子形成八面体络合物。在分子生物学研究中可用于抑制依赖金属离子激活的酶。在诊断检测中，可作为采血抗凝剂用于血液学检验。
应用
EDTA二钠盐在研究中的应用:
- 作为电泳、细胞培养、酶法检测、siRNA、流式细胞术、二甲基亚甲蓝等的缓冲液组分
- 作为全血采集的抗凝剂
- 作为细胞培养物样本冷冻的稳定剂
- 与PBS和胰蛋白酶共同用于消化细胞
- 用于污染土壤的重金属植物萃取
二价阳离子的螯合剂。 对需要二价阳离子发挥活性的酶，比如金属蛋白酶具有抑制作用。
