含有结晶水的固体物质，叫做水合物（曾用名：结晶水合物）。结晶水合物中的水分子是以确定量存在的，如FeCl 3 ·6H 2 O、FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O、Ba（OH） 2 ·8H 2 O和ZnSO 4 ·7H 2 O等。因此，结晶水合物是纯净物。水合物中的水分子有各种结合方式。一种是作为配位体，配位在金属离子上，叫配位结晶水。另一种结合在阴离子上，叫阴离子结晶水。例如，CuSO 4 ·5H 2 O加热到113℃，只失去4分子水，加热到258℃才能脱去最后
在室温和比较干燥的空气里，水合物失去一部分或全部结晶水，使原有晶形发生改变或破坏，这种现象叫做风化。十水合碳酸钠（Na 2 CO 3 ·10H 2 O）和芒硝（Na 2 SO 4 ·10H 2 O），放在干燥的空气中会逐渐失去结晶水成为粉末。因为常温常压下这些水合物的水蒸气压大于空气中水蒸气分压，所以晶体会部分或全部失去水合物中的结晶水，使原有的晶形受到破坏。
称量后用蒸馏水溶解，浓 HCl 调 pH 值至 7.4，先配置 10% 脱氧胆酸钠，加入 5 mL 即为0.5%，，再加入1 mL 的 NP-40，混匀后定容至 100 mL，分装，-20℃ 保存。
