描述:H-Tyr-Phe-OH (L-Tyrosyl-L-phenylalanine) can be used as the biomarker to distinguish benign thyroid nodules (BTN) from thyroid cancer (TC). H-Tyr-Phe-OH is an orally active Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor with the 48% inhibiton rate at 50 μM. H-Tyr-Phe-OH shows xanthine oxidase inhibitory activity(uric acid lowering) that acts as regulator of IL-8 production in neutrophil-like cells [1] [2] [3] [4].
