The Millex®-HV Filter Unit (Sterile) is a medical device intended for use as a syringe filter to clarify low volume solutions in direct patient care and pharmacy admixture applications. This filter eliminates microorganisms, particles, precipitates, and undissolved powders larger than the membrane′s rated pore size (0.45 μm).应用
Millex®-HV Filter Unit (Sterile) may be used in:Research laboratories: for clarification of protein solutions, tissue culture media, additives, buffers, and water
Clinical use: for removing microorganisms, particles, and larger undissolved powders from clinical solutions.
Hospital pharmacies: to clarify small volumes of protein drugs, diagnostic imaging agents, chemotherapeutics, aqueous solutions, or water during admixture preparation.
Direct patient care: to remove particulate from epidural and other liquid anesthetics and irrigation solutions used in ophthalmic, otic and other surgical procedures.
