CD52, also known as CAMPATH-1 antigen, is a glycoprotein of 12 amino acids, anchored to glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI). CD52 is found mostly on the surface of mature immune cells, such as lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and dendritic cells, as well as the male genital tract: within the epididymis and on the surface of mature sperm. Low CD52 expression is also found in neutrophils.
