DSIP Synthetic is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 15 amino acids, having a molecular mass of 1419.55  Dalton and a Molecular formula of C₆₂H₉₈N₁₆O₂₂.  

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

The protein was lyophilized with no additives.       

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized DSIP in sterile 18MΩ-cm H₂O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Lyophilized DSIP although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution DSIP should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 97.0% as determined by analysis by RP-HPLC.

Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (DSIP), also known as Sleep-Promoting Peptide, is a neuropeptide that has been the subject of extensive research due to its potential role in sleep regulation, stress response, and neuroprotection.
