Bis-sulfone-PEG4-DBCO is a bis-alkylating labeling reagent that enables site-specific incorporation of DBCO moiety onto antibodies to form well-defined conjugates. Conjugates prepared with bis-sulfone reagents benefits from reduced heterogeneity and enhanced stability.DBCO reagents are the most commonly used substrates for strain-promoted copper-free azide-alkyne click chemistry reactions. DBCO compounds react with azide functionalized compounds or biomolecules without the need for a Cu(I) catalyst to result in a stable triazole linkage.
