分泌型磷脂酶 A2 (PLA2)在甘油磷脂的 sn-2 位置上裂解酰基酯键。
这些细胞外蛋白具有高的二硫键含量，低分子质量(14 kDa)，并需要 mM
水平的 Ca2+来催化。它们在花生四烯酸酯和类花生四烯酸酯的生成中
起着至关重要的作用，并具有许多生物学作用，包括免疫反应、炎症、
细胞增殖、血管收缩和细支气管收缩。分泌型磷脂酶 A2 (PLA2)在全身
炎症、自身免疫或过敏性疾病（如急性胰腺炎、类风湿性关节炎、支气
管哮喘和过敏性鼻炎）患者的血浆和生物体液中以较高浓度存在，分泌
型磷脂酶 A2 (PLA2)也用于心血管疾病风险的判断，包括冠状动脉粥样
硬化性心脏病，还有缺血性休克等，因此检测分泌型磷脂酶 A2 (PLA2)
的水平可以帮助预测患者心血管疾病的风险，并有助于早期诊断和治
疗。分泌型磷脂酶 A2 (PLA2)能够促进粥样硬化，在血管炎症中起重要
的作用，所以是心血管疾病的一个独立标志物。
