| 背景资料 | Angiogenin (ANG) also known as ribonuclease 5 is a small 123 amino acid protein that in humans is encoded by the ANG gene. Predicted to enable several functions, including actin binding activity; heparin binding activity; and protein homodimerization activity. Involved in liver development. Predicted to be located in several cellular components, including growth cone; neuronal cell body; and nucleolus. Predicted to be part of angiogenin-PRI complex. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in diabetic retinopathy; myocardial infarction; neurodegenerative disease (multiple); and prostate cancer. Orthologous to human ANG (angiogenin). |

After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a membrane. Then the membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-Angiogenin/Ang antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody (A00146-3) and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody (Catalog # BA1054). The signal is developed using ECL Plus Western Blotting Substrate (Catalog # AR1197). A specific band was detected for Angiogenin/Ang at approximately 25 kDa. The expected band size for Angiogenin/Ang is at 17-22 kDa.[/list_product_images]
