    Ephrin 受体是受体酪氨酸激酶(RTK)家族中最大的亚群。EphB6 是一种
    不寻常的 Eph 受体，由于其激酶结构域的改变而缺乏催化能力。有趣的
    是，在包括乳腺癌在内的几种肿瘤类型中，转移活性的增加与 EphB6
    受体表达的降低有关。这强调了 EphB6 作为癌症侵袭性抑制因子的潜力。
    EphB6 通过 c- cbl 依赖信号、形态改变和细胞附着抑制癌症侵袭，表明
    EphB6 可能是一种有用的预后标志物和治疗方法的有希望的靶点。
    EphB6 对细胞黏附和迁移具有正向和负向调节作用，提示 Src 家族激酶
    对受体酪氨酸的磷酸化是功能转变的分子开关。此外，Ephrin-B2 可能
    是 EphB6 受体的生理配体。
