    表皮细胞生长因子受体(EGFR)是一个巨大的跨膜糖蛋白, 分子量
    约为 l80KDa,具有配体诱导的酪氨酸蛋白激酶活性，它是 ErbB 这个保守
    的受体家族的一个成员, 这个家族的其他成员包括 HER2/Neu/ErbB2,
    HER3/ErbB3 和 HER4/ErbB4。ErbB 受体的共同特征是: 包含一个胞外
    (EC)配体结合区,是由两个重复的富含半胱氨酸的区域组成的单一跨膜
    区，以及含有酪氨酸蛋白激酶和自身磷酸化位点的胞内序列。当与配体
    结合后, 受体二聚化, 这对于改变配体和受体间的高亲和力状态以及受
    体在分子间传递磷酸化信号都至关重要。至于形成同二聚体, 还是异二
    聚体, 则取决于这四种受体的相对水平以及活化的配体。
