甲状腺球蛋白是甲状腺滤泡合成330KDa的糖蛋白，表达于正常甲状腺滤泡上皮和胶质、甲状腺滤泡型腺瘤、甲状腺滤泡癌和乳头状癌。该抗体具有较高的组织特异性，主要用于各种类型的原发性和转移性甲状腺滤泡上皮癌的研究，是正常甲状腺组织及良、恶性甲状腺肿瘤的特异性标记物。
