It is expressed in splenocytes, activated PBL, CD8+ tumor infiltrating lymphocytes, granulocytes and monocytes. LIGHT has the ability to activate NFkB, stimulate proliferation of lymphocytes, and induce apoptosis in certain human tumor cells.
