盐酸胍生物学应用:
(1)作为蛋白质变性剂,可以溶解一些不溶的或变性蛋白质,例如内涵体;也可用于活性蛋白或酶的初始折叠。
(2) 作为提取细胞总RNA实验中的强烈变性剂。盐酸胍溶液可溶解蛋白质,导致细胞结构破坏,核蛋白二级结构破坏,从核酸上解离下来。还能够充分抑制细胞和整个组织的核糖核酸酶活性。 由于其生物学上的破坏特性,常称含有盐酸胍或者硫qing酸胍的缓冲液为离液缓冲液。
盐酸胍贮存条件:室温阴凉干燥保存;
盐酸胍急性毒性:有毒,小鼠腹腔半数致死量500mg/kg。有刺激性。
盐酸胍注意事项:盐酸胍有毒,使用时要小心做好个体防护。
盐酸胍在储存时可能会结块。它可能表现为自由流动的结晶粉末

Biological application of guanidine hydrochloride:
(1) As a protein denaturant, it can dissolve some insoluble or denatured proteins, such as endosomes; It can also be used for the initial folding of active proteins or enzymes.
(2) As a strong denaturant in the experiment of extracting total RNA from cells. Guanidine hydrochloride solution can dissolve proteins, causing damage to cell structure and secondary structure of nuclear proteins, leading to dissociation from nucleic acids. It can also fully inhibit the ribonuclease activity of cells and the entire tissue. Due to its biological destructive properties, buffer solutions containing guanidine hydrochloride or guanidine thiosulfate are often referred to as release buffer solutions.
Storage conditions for guanidine hydrochloride: Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place;
Acute toxicity of guanidine hydrochloride: toxic, with a median lethal dose of 500mg/kg in the abdominal cavity of mice. It is stimulating.
Precautions for guanidine hydrochloride: Guanidine hydrochloride is toxic, so be careful and take personal protective measures when using it.
Guanidine hydrochloride may clump during storage. It may manifest as a freely flowing crystalline powder

The quality of the product does not seem to have been affected, and a completely identical solution of guanidine hydrochloride prepared from freely flowing blocky guanidine hydrochloride has been used to separate RNA, dissociating the nucleoprotein into its nucleic acid protein portion.
It is an inhibitor of ribonuclease.
Use high concentration (6-8M) guanidine hydrochloride solution to denature natural globular proteins.
It clearly disrupts the unique hydrogen bonding structure of proteins.
However, there is also evidence to suggest that guanidine hydrochloride may disrupt hydrophobic interactions by increasing the solubility of hydrophobic residues in aqueous solutions.
Preparation instructions:
In order to prepare an 8M solution in water, the solution must be heated to 35 º C for approximately 30 minutes. At room temperature, the maximum solubility of guanidine hydrochloride in water is approximately 6M.
Storage/Stability
Store the product at room temperature. It should be reassessed for applicability among users every six years
