Description ：CD40 is a 48 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein, also known as Bp50. It is a member of thetumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily and is expressed on B cells, basal epithelialcells, macrophages, follicular dendritic cells, endothelial cells, and a subset of CD34hematopoietic progenitors. CD40 regulates B cell development/maturation, Ig isotype switchingand, in combination with other signals such as IL-4, protects B cells from surface Ig-inducedapoptosis and promotes proliferation. Interaction of CD40 with its ligand CD154 (gp39), whichis expressed on activated T cells, is important in costimulation and immune regulation.

Concentration ：The antibody is bottled at the concentration indicated on the vial, typically between 2 mg/mL and3 mg/mL. Older lots may have also been bottled at 1 mg/mL. To obtain lot-specific concentrationand expiration, please enter the lot number in our Certificate of Analysis online tool.
Storage & Handling ：The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C. This Ultra-LEAF™solution contains no preservative; handle under aseptic conditions.
Application ：FC - Quality tested、Costim, Block, IP - Reported in the literature, not verified in house
Recommended Usage ：Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometricanalysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 1.0 µg per million cellsin 100 µl volume or 100 µl of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated foroptimal performance for each application.
