描述
B7-H3是B7基因家族的成员。它与人B7-H3具有88%的氨基酸序列同一性。它主要在专业APC上表达，包括B细胞、巨噬细胞和树突状细胞。其在树突状细胞上的表达似乎被LPS上调。B7-H3蛋白抑制T细胞活化和细胞因子的产生。据报道，抗B7-H3单克隆抗体在体外增强了T细胞的增殖，并导致体内EAE加剧。因此，B7-H3可能是T细胞活化和功能的负调控因子。
B7-H3 is a member of the B7 gene family. It has 88% amino acid sequence identity with human B7-H3. It is mostly expressed on professional APCs, including B cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells. Its expression on dendritic cells appears to be up-regulated by LPS. B7-H3 protein inhibits T cell activation and cytokine production. It was reported that monoclonal antibody against B7-H3 enhanced T cell proliferation in vitro and led to exacerbated EAE in vivo. Therefore, B7-H3 may be a negative regulator on T cell activation and function.

Recommended Usage
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 1.0 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Distribution
Mouse B7-H3 is expressed on professional APCs, including B cells, dendritic cells, and macrophages. It is reported to express on a minor fraction of CD4+ and CD8+ cells.
Ligand/Receptor
The receptor has not been identified, but it seems to be expressed on activated T cells.
Bioactivity
Mouse B7-H3 is a negative regulator of T cell activation and IL-2 production.
