In Vitro: Icofungipen shows inhibitory effect on Candida species with MIC values of 16-64 μg/mL after 24-48 h.
Icofungipen shows MIC₉₀ values of 8-32 μg/mL for 90% C. albicans.

In Vivo: Icofungipen (5-25 mg/kg; po; twice daily for 7 days) shows a dose-dependent protection against clinical isolates of C. albicans in a lethal model of infection in mice.
