N-Acetyl lysyltyrosylcysteine amide attenuates neuronal damage and preserves brain tissue and neurological function in the post-stroke brain.N-Acetyl lysyltyrosylcysteine amide inhibits MPO-dependent hypochlorite (HOCl) production, protein nitration and LDL oxidation.N-Acetyl lysyltyrosylcysteine amide is a potent, reversible, and specific agent.
