Erythrocyte membrane protein band 4.1 (EPB41) is a component of the cytoskeleton of cell membranes. It is part of the erythrocyte membrane protein family. EPB41 localizes at the centrosomes. The gene encoding this protein is localized on human chromosome 1p35.3.

Erythrocyte membrane protein band 4.1 (EPB41) is important for red blood cell shape and deformability. It has been associated with non-small cell lung cancer. Deficiency of EPB41 has been linked to hereditary elliptocytosis.
