These are specialty reagents for diabetes care that are used on open channel chemistry systems in many prestigious and respected medical facilities in the United States.
Our unique collection of products has recently been expanded to include DiaSpect Tm, a hand-held hemoglobin analyser that provides lab-accurate results in less than two seconds. DiaSpect Tm sits alongside the HemoPoint H2, which has been used in clinics and doctor’s surgeries for more than a decade. EKF also has UltraCrit™, an hematocrit blood donor screening device and HemataStat II™ – a multi-sample hematocrit testing centrifuge. Finally, Creamatocrit Plus™ measures the lipid content and estimates calories in mothers’ milk.
