背景介绍
DENR, also named as SMAP-3 or DRP1, is a 198 amino acid protein, which is highly expressed in heart and skeletal muscle and moderately expressed in the brain, placenta, liver and pancreas. DENR is Up-regulated with increasing cell-density by HNRNPD and Up-regulated in ovarian and breast cancer cells by ERBB2 overexpression. The calculated molecular weight of DENR is 22 kDa, but the modified protein is about 25-30 kDa. (PMID: 27239039 )
