Dr. Ying Yang Senior Research Scientist,Bioprocess Center Eppendorf, Inc.
Dr. Ying Yang joined Eppendorf in 2017 as a Senior Research Scientist working in the Bioprocess Applications Lab. She earned her PhD in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA and Masters in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Later as a post-doc researcher, she participated in a USDA Agriculture and Food Research Initiative Competitive Grant funded project at Louisiana State University Agricultural Center. Over the years, she has built her research expertise in applied microbiology focusing on fermentation of bacteria, fungi, and microalgae from both academia and the bioprocess industry.
