Plates are pre-coated with a synthetic peptide corresponding to phosphorylation site of CPI-17 (Protein kinase C-potentiated inhibitor protein of 17 KDa), which can be efficiently phosphorylated by Protein kinase C on a microtiter plate. The detector antibody is AK-1F11, an antibody that specifically detects only the phosphorylated CPI-17 threonine38.
