Product Description:
Leukemia Inhibitory Factor also called LIF is a lymphoid factor that promotes long-term maintenance of embryonic stem cells by suppressing spontaneous differentiation. Leukemia Inhibitory Factor has several functions such as cholinergic neuron differentiation, control of stem cell pluripotency, bone & fat metabolism, mitogenesis of factor dependent cell lines & promotion of megakaryocyte production in vivo. Wisent Mouse Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF) which is produced in E.Coli is of high purity(≥95%,SDS-PAGE) and high quality. WISENT LIF is endotoxin tested and sterile filtered. The high purity LIF can used in stem cell culture to maintain embryonic stem cells by suppressing differentiation.

Prepare Medium:
WISENT LIF is 100ng/μL, and it should be used at 50μL/600mL of basal media. This is equivalent to a final LIF concentration of 1000U/mL.
