Mononuclear cells (MNC) are small aliquots from an apheresis leuko pak. The leuko pak is collected using the COBE Spectra ™ apheresis machine (approximately 90% of these cells are MNC). These fresh MNC products are processed to deplete RBC using an ammonium chloride solution and are processed to deplete platelets by centrifugation.
