植物生物反应器技术
生物反应器技术是利用细菌、酵母、动物细胞、动物和植物表达和生产重组蛋白药物的技术。植物生物反应器利用高等植物完善的蛋白表达系统,以植物光合作用代替微生物发酵和动物细胞培养,且不会携带致人类疾病病毒,是有效、经济、安全的蛋白生产系统。植物生物反应器生产药用蛋白凭借诸多优势,成为当前基因工程发展的一个新趋势,已有多种产品进入临床研究,将会为重组蛋白的生产开创新的纪元。
植物生物反应器技术是通过基因工程技术改造植物,将植物细胞作为“蛋白生产车间”,来表达和生产重组蛋白质或者多肽的技术,包括工业用、医药用的重组蛋白。整个生产过程涵盖了基因克隆、表达;原料种植、收获、运输、储藏;蛋白提取、纯化、加工等技术。植物生物反应器以农业形式完成原料生产,而加工过程和最终产品又以医药的形式完成,将农业和制药业有有机整合,因此又叫植物分子医药(Molecular Pharming),其产品称为植物源重组药物。
